Here’s an easy kitchen remedy to quell hyper, jangled nerves.
Simply rub coconut or olive oil onto your feet, legs and forehead—it’s so soothing that you might find yourself rubbing it on all the spots in-between. Like “pouring oil on troubled water” oiling yourself evokes an involuntary “Ahhhhhhh.”
I recommend unrefined coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil. Yes, you'll smell like either a coconut or an olive, but the aroma quickly fades as the oil is absorbed and it will not soil your clothing.
